Category 1 of 4

Gaylord Box Liners

Poly Liners (Plastic)

Heavy-duty polyethylene bags designed to fit inside gaylord boxes. Available in 1.5 mil to 6 mil thickness. Poly liners protect contents from moisture, dust, and contamination. They are essential for food products, powders, granular materials, and any goods stored outdoors or in non-climate-controlled environments. We stock liners for all standard gaylord sizes and can source custom dimensions.

Paper Liners

Kraft paper liners provide a recyclable, biodegradable alternative to plastic. They protect box walls from grease, oils, and abrasion without adding plastic waste to your packaging. Paper liners work well for metal parts, oily components, and agricultural products where some breathability is desired.

Anti-Static Liners

Pink-tinted polyethylene liners with anti-static properties for electronic components, circuit boards, and sensitive equipment. These liners prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) that can damage semiconductors and delicate electronics during storage and transport.

Category 2 of 4

Caps & Lids

Gaylord Caps (Top Pads)

Flat corrugated pads that sit on top of a filled gaylord box. They protect contents from dust, debris, and light compression from stacked items above. Available in standard pallet sizes (48x40, 48x45) and custom cuts. Both new and used caps available.

Full-Depth Lids

Telescope-style corrugated lids that slide over the top of a gaylord box, providing several inches of overlap for secure closure. Full-depth lids are superior to flat caps for outdoor storage, long-distance shipping, and applications where contents must be fully enclosed.

Pallet Caps

Large corrugated or plastic sheets placed between stacked pallets to distribute weight and protect the top layer of product beneath. Essential for warehouses that stack palletized goods two or three high.

Category 3 of 4

Wrapping & Sealing

Stretch Wrap

Cast and blown stretch film in 70, 80, and 90 gauge options. Machine wrap rolls and hand wrap rolls available. Stretch wrap unitizes pallet loads, prevents shifting during transit, and provides a layer of dust and moisture protection. We stock clear, black (for UV protection and privacy), and tinted options.

Packing Tape

Pressure-sensitive carton sealing tape in 2-inch and 3-inch widths. We carry hot-melt adhesive tape for strong seals in warm environments, acrylic tape for long-term storage, and water-activated (gummed) tape for tamper-evident, recyclable closures. Branded tape with custom printing is available on new orders.

Strapping & Banding

Polypropylene and polyester strapping for securing heavy boxes and bundling multiple items together. Available in coils with hand tools or machine-grade for automated strapping equipment. Steel strapping also available for extreme-weight applications.

Category 4 of 4

Protection & Void Fill

Edge Protectors (Corner Boards)

L-shaped corrugated or solid fiberboard strips that reinforce box corners and protect edges during strapping and stacking. Available in lengths from 24 inches to 96 inches and thicknesses from 0.12 to 0.25 inches. Edge protectors prevent strap damage and distribute stacking loads.

Dunnage & Cushioning

Corrugated inserts, die-cut partitions, and molded pulp cushions that hold products in place inside boxes. Custom dunnage prevents movement and impact damage for fragile items. We design and produce custom dunnage solutions as part of our packaging consultation services.

Void Fill

Recycled kraft paper, air pillows, and biodegradable packing peanuts to fill empty space inside boxes and prevent content movement. We prioritize eco-friendly void fill options — our kraft paper crumple fill and cornstarch peanuts are fully biodegradable and recyclable.

New & Used Accessories Available

Just like our boxes, many accessories are available in both new and pre-owned conditions. Used caps, liners, and edge protectors deliver the same functional performance at a lower cost — and keep materials in circulation longer.

Available Used

  • Gaylord caps and top pads — inspected for structural integrity
  • Full-depth corrugated lids — lightly used, fully functional
  • Edge protectors — sorted by length and condition
  • Pallet caps — inspected for flatness and strength
  • Corrugated dividers and inserts — sorted by size

New Only

  • Poly liners — hygiene requires new materials for food/pharma
  • Anti-static liners — ESD protection demands new, tested material
  • Stretch wrap — cannot be effectively reused
  • Packing tape — single-use by nature
  • Void fill materials — fresh for each shipment
Bundle & Save

Complete Packaging Bundles

Order boxes and accessories together for a streamlined experience and volume pricing. Our most popular bundles pair gaylord boxes with matching liners, caps, and stretch wrap — everything you need arrives on a single delivery truck.

Bundling also simplifies your purchasing process. Storage Guide

How to Store Your Packaging Accessories

Proper storage extends the life and performance of your packaging accessories. Follow these guidelines to protect your inventory investment.

Poly Liners

Store in original packaging until use. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources above 120°F — UV and heat degrade polyethylene over time. Store flat or rolled, never folded, to prevent crease weakening. Shelf life: 12-24 months in proper conditions.

Corrugated Caps & Lids

Store flat and elevated off the floor on pallets or shelving. Keep dry — moisture is the enemy of corrugated material. Stack no more than 5 bundles high to prevent bottom items from crushing. Indoor, climate-controlled storage is ideal.

Packing Tape

Store at 60-80°F. Extreme cold makes adhesive brittle; extreme heat causes adhesive to soften and bleed. Keep rolls in original carton until use. Shelf life varies by adhesive: hot melt (12 months), acrylic (24+ months), gummed (indefinite if dry).

Stretch Wrap

Store upright on rolls in a cool, dry area. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not stack heavy items on top of stretch wrap rolls — this can deform the core and cause uneven dispensing. Use FIFO (first in, first out) rotation. Shelf life: 12 months.

Edge Protectors

Store flat in bundles, elevated off the floor. Corrugated edge protectors absorb moisture readily — keep them in an indoor, dry environment. Do not remove banding until ready to use. Stack bundles no more than 4 high.

Void Fill & Dunnage

Kraft paper and air pillows should be stored in dry conditions. Biodegradable peanuts must be kept away from moisture — they dissolve in water by design. Keep bagged until use. Air pillows lose inflation over months; check before use.

Accessories FAQ

What thickness poly liner should I use for my gaylord boxes?

It depends on the contents. For dry, non-sharp items like clothing or plastic parts, 1.5-2 mil is sufficient. For granular materials, powders, or items stored outdoors, go with 3-4 mil. For sharp or abrasive contents (metal stampings, glass, construction debris), use 6 mil. When in doubt, go one thickness up — the cost difference is minimal but the protection improvement is significant.

Can I reuse gaylord caps and lids?

Yes, and we encourage it. Used corrugated caps and lids that are still structurally sound can be reused multiple times. We sell used caps that have been inspected for integrity at 40-60% less than new. When a cap becomes too worn for reuse, it should be recycled with your corrugated waste stream.

What is the difference between hot melt and acrylic packing tape?

Hot melt tape provides an immediate, aggressive bond and works well in warm environments and on recycled corrugated surfaces. Acrylic tape has a lower initial tack but develops a stronger long-term bond — making it better for storage applications and cold environments. Acrylic tape is also UV-resistant, so it will not yellow or degrade on boxes stored in sunlit areas.

Do you sell custom-printed stretch wrap?

We do not print stretch wrap, but we offer pre-printed stretch film in limited options (e.g., 'DO NOT DOUBLE STACK,' 'THIS SIDE UP'). For branded pallet identification, we recommend using printed pallet placards or custom printed tape instead, which are more cost-effective and visible.

What is the minimum order for accessories?

Most accessories have no minimum order for in-stock items. Poly liners are sold by the case (typically 50-100 per case depending on size). Caps are sold individually or by the bundle (10-25 per bundle). Tape is sold by the case (typically 24-36 rolls). Edge protectors are sold by the bundle (25-50 per bundle). Custom or special-order items may have minimums — contact us for details.

Are your void fill materials eco-friendly?

Yes. We offer kraft paper crumple fill (100% recyclable and biodegradable), cornstarch-based packing peanuts (dissolve in water, compostable), and recycled newsprint void fill. We also carry air pillows made from recycled LDPE that can be deflated and recycled. We do not stock expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) peanuts.

Can you bundle accessories with box orders for a single delivery?

Absolutely — and we recommend it. Bundling boxes with accessories on a single order means one delivery stop, one invoice, and often qualifies you for volume pricing across product categories. Our most popular bundles pair gaylord boxes with matching liners, caps, and stretch wrap. Talk to your account manager about setting up a recurring bundle order.

Buying Guidance

How to Evaluate Packaging Products Like an Operations Team

A product catalog is useful, but the real purchasing decision usually depends on fit-for-use. The right question is not just whether a box exists in the correct size. The better question is whether that box matches your load, handling method, storage duration, customer expectation, and total landed cost.

Commercial buyers often save the most when they separate needs into categories: customer-facing shipments, internal transfers, warehouse storage, low-volume odd sizes, and seasonal peaks. Once those categories are defined, it becomes much easier to decide where used boxes make sense and where new production is justified.

This product library is designed to support that kind of decision-making. Each category has a different strength profile, cost structure, and operational use case, and the best results come from matching those details to your actual workflow rather than defaulting to one box style for everything.

Before choosing a product category, confirm

  • Required dimensions, usable interior fit, and pallet compatibility
  • Whether appearance, print quality, or food-contact compliance requires new material
  • Expected weight, stacking load, and handling conditions in storage and transit
  • Whether accessories such as liners, caps, tape, or edge protectors should be specified at the same time
